The flock is growing every day, so get excited to embrace all of your bird homies old and new! The most important packing tip is to bring your good vibes, unique style, serious moves and get ready to unleash them all on the dance floor at Campout. Get ready to fly with the flock and boogie till you drop!

Here are some packing tips so you can successfully eat, sleep, boogie, repeat…

Keeping Yourself In Check

  • Official Photo ID and printed ticket or screen shot of QR Code on your phone
  • Face masks - not only for COVID protection, but good for dry dust
  • Clothes for all weather occasions – Modesto is hot during the day and night time temps get low! I would even be prepared for rain. It’s happened before! Bring rain gear and layers for for warm days & cold nights.
  • SOS (Save Our Skin) Sunscreen: Eco-friendly, Biodegradable, sunscreen, sunscreen and more sunscreen. Plus, bring a hat! (AVOID these ingredients in your sunscreen: PABA, octinoxate, oxybenzone, 4-methylbenzylidene camphor and the preservative butylparaben, espcially if you plan on swimming in the reservoir.)
  • Insect repellent & topical itch cream
  • Bandana (we provide at HQ games), scarf and sunglasses to protect yourself against any dust
  • Comfortable shoes (you’ll thank yourself later): boots, sneakers and other closed toed shoes are ideal. Pro-tip: extra socks for nighttime!
  • Toiletries + shower shoes: for the not-so-dirty campers.
  • Your own unique style!

  • Tent + hammer or mallet and heavy duty stakes!
  • Air mattress or cushion of some sort
  • Pillow
  • Warm blankets & sleeping bag
  • Ear plugs & eye mask
