Need to Know Campout Info


We’re excited to be back at Modesto Reservoir Campgrounds! We had such positive feedback and a great experience at Modesto, we decided to go back. Bringing in NEW changes to highten this venue and make your ecperience here even better than the last.

Bring Water

We recommend bringing enough water for the duration of the weekend. If space is an issue or you run out, no worries, there will be water for sale in the campgrounds and inside the event.

Vehicles at Campout

There are no parking lots at the venue. Every car, truck, van, or SUV coming into Dirtybird Campout must purchase a Vehicle Pass to enter (bicycles and motorcycles are exempt). Vehicle Passes will allow you to camp with your vehicle inside the campgrounds. NOTE: RVs, minibuses (or bigger), and cars/trucks pulling a trailer MUST have an RV Pass.

Thursday Arrival Passes

With Campout right around the corner, campers are packing up and getting ready for a weekend of music, games, and adventure! For just $55 per pass, you and your crew can enter beginning on Thursday, October 3rd. Get first dibs in the campgrounds, grab a shady spot, and be ready to go first thing Friday morning.

Exploring the Grounds

The Dirtybird Campout venue is vast with many trails and roads to explore. Pay attention to signs, respect wildlife, and take care on terrain. Swim at your own risk as there are no lifeguards or rangers on duty.

Rain or Shine

Campout will happen rain or shine! Check the weather and come prepared with everything you need to protect yourself and your camp against the elements.

Bring Your ID

Dirtybird Campout is a 21+ event. Bring your ID to pick up your wristband at the Box Office. No one without proof of age will be permitted into the festival.

Alcohol at Campout

NO GLASS containers will be permitted inside the event. You may bring a reasonable amount of alcohol, in cans or plastic bottles, for personal consumption. Personal alcohol supplies are permitted within the campgrounds – but will NOT be allowed inside the main festival grounds. Please drink responsibly.

Illegal Substances

Dirtybird Campout is a drug-free event. Anyone caught with or doing any illegal substances will be escorted from the event and may face legal consequences.

No Animals

No dogs, pets or other animals are permitted in the festival. ESA (emotional support animals) are NOT permitted. Medical service dogs that meet legal requirements, and are pre-registered and approved are allowed inside. Please contact This email address is being protected from spambots. Anyone found inside the event with an unregistered animal will be escorted out of the grounds without a refund.
